If you dont want to use bigger than 7.0, provided you are light, think about an early planning board of between 105-130lit. This combo should give you some decent time on the water.

Was there for 4 days.
3 days of rainy days and 1 day of sunshine.

It was blowing only for a couple of days with the rest good enough for FW.
Good for kite though.

Spent most of my time boogie boarding (a big thks to Ah Loh's board).

at work as usual...

plan to take another look at manamana this weekend.  cycled to PF on sunday but it was very quiet (the big rain must have killed everything off).  wasn't overly impressed with the 'storage' at PF.  for 70 bucks a month i thought it would be more secure.  maybe i'm just too british, but in my experience if it ain't locked down it will go walkabout...  does that not happen here?  are there cheaper/better storage options along EC?

There are cheaper storage options at PA seasports further along the coast.
The place has an alarm when closed, but do not worry about security here, not like the UK, your gear will be safe at either club.

Wind has been pretty up and down. It was windy (12 to 15 knots) until Monday light (10 to 12 knots).

Tuesday was light all day till evening (12 knots). Wednesday was light all day 6 to 8 knots but surf was playful 1 foot.

Today looks promising again. At the moment, we are recording max 7 knots on the beach but it looks good outside. White caps suggest about 12 knots.

This weekend's forecast looks good for the weekend though.

Hey Pete,

I've booked the ferry to come for the day on Sunday.  Can I get free transfer from the ferry terminal to mana mana?  Do you have new kit for hire?!

Cheers
Nick.
