Sukhdev

Heard that the terms for the club is running out... how about taking it over and running it like a true blue windsurfing club...

Ya, it will be great to have a real sailor run the club. How can a restauranteer run a windsurfing club... Who can blame the club for looking like a restaurant, an open air massage parlour, having a pro-shop that is always closed and unattended, having people fishing from the Sun Deck... having unknown people walk in and out of the club...

some saddening news => heard the current TowKay got his leased extended for another 3 years.

totally agreed with Low Rider of his description of the sailing club now.

It looks more like a "Tom, Dick & Harry" Sailing Club to me now. Only PA looks like a windsurfing arena with the right atmosphere & the right people.

The plight of the members looks exactly like the RTC fiasco.

The real problem is Sports Council. They don't care what happens in the centre, when was the last time they inspected the place for safety? One of these day somebody is going to get hurt very bad on the beach from either a board or rig going out of control.

Sports council is more interested in making the money from the rental than promoting windsurfing.

Maybe its time all the sailors got organize and speak with one voice.
