SO, you set the whole thing up?  Anyway, it was 38mph who gave me the idea   

On the topic of endurance, I was going to mention Tasmania's Dave Morehead, who once windsurfed 500km in a single day.  Not across the ocean, mind you; just back and forth around his local spot.  He's also done 45 knots, for those who are still impressed by speed.
