FIRST CATEGORY WARNING
WARNING ON STRONG WINDS AND ROUGH SEAS
IN THE COASTAL WATERS OF THE EAST COAST OF THE PENINSULA AND WEST SABAH
The strong winds and rough seas warning issued at 11.00 am 24 November 2003 for the coastal waters of the East Coast of The Peninsula and West Sabah is extended till Monday night 01 December 2003. The strong north easterly winds of 40-50 kmph and rough seas with waves up to 3.0 meters in the coastal waters of the East Coast of The Peninsula and West Sabah are expected to persist throughout this period.
This condition of strong winds and rough seas is hazardous to small boat.
