Sukhdev, ever since u entered the market, there is so much +ve changes to the windsurfing fraternity.
The windsurfers aint limited to Singtel anymore.
As for the forums, you might want to add in a few more sections rather than bundling all into a single windsurfing section.
Keep up the good work BlueFinz Team!

Wee, your kind words are highly appreciated; we hope to continue to make a difference.
Your suggestion for adding more sections is something I have considered.
I'd like to ask feedback from all fellow windsurfers using this forum - what sort of additional sections would all of you like to see?

Nice website revamp! many initiatives coming up, and many more that can hopefully rev up the community. I esp like the webcam bit....great for those working or those stuck at home to make a quick dash for the beach when the wind starts happening.

Sukhdev, great job on the website, your new home page is cool & this forum is a nice "alive!" cyber kopi tiam!
My suggestion is don't split into too many sections unless the number of topics become very large. Better to have the "rojak" air, at least we all can read and contribute in one place.
A very Merry x'mas & happy new year to all

if there are too many sections, definitely bounce to be lotsa work for the moderators to do the housekeeping.
maybe Sukhdev can assigned a few more moderators to do the housekeeping.
I personally feel that New Blood has to be recruited to promote the radical sports of ours.
Maybee a section for the 'Newbie Into Windsurfing', a section for the Tertiary Students as there is a market for NTU or NUS windsurfing students.
But be prepared, as more people start coming in, the server would be pretty congested.
Cheers

Please, no more sections for now. Maybe next year when you probably will be spammed with forum questions. For now it is perfect in its own.

WeE'suggestion about the NTU & NUS student is good. I am the first batch of NUS( Goesh! I am old).If we are into something, we know how die hard we are. For eg, to me, windsurfing is as fun as making baby; if not, more fun!
PA is the base camp of NTU & NUS windsurfing. It is sad that this particular area is not given the attention it deserves. If someone in their 60's still can windsurf so competently, imagine the potentials of these 20's in terms of long haul bIz oppotunities and the continuation of windsurfing passion in our nation. We are talking a gap of 40 years. I always derive a lot of satis faction by overtaking someone 20 years my junior despite knowing the fact i am actually having a more supeior equipment. However, i did do my deed by selling to them my second hand equipment at a real attractive price.

Wee, the Beginner's Windsurfing forum is expressly fo beginners. If you folks come across any newbies needing advice in starting out direct them there.
NUS/NTU folks, do you want your own forum here? It would be easy for me to set it up, and it would be good if one of you moderated it. [ 23. December 2002, 10:31 PM: Message edited by: sukhdev ]

hi sukhdev it would be nice to have a ntu/nus forum but rite now many of the nus/ntu surfers are on soft sails only a handful of us are on personal equipment so it prob will not be extremly lively but itz a good start i guess for some of us to ask and seek opinions ....

Hey Jas, good news, the forum for students is up...bad news..I've "appointed" you co-moderator..I'll send you separate information on what a moderator needs to do (not much basically, just watch the fun & join in occasionally).
