A bright future for Asia Windsurfing at the inaugural Youth Olympic Games.

Gold     -Siripon Kaewduang-Ngam (THA)
Silver   -Michal Cheng(HKG)
Bronze -Audrey Yong (SIN)

That's great! Hopefully (well, almost certainly, if I know the Singapore government) this will translate into more funding for the development of windsurfing here...and we have it pretty good already.

Just out of interest, did the bathtub babies win any medals??

u mean the jacuzzi tubs ?

no medals this time except for standing oviation Grin

Never mind, better luck next time...

We should ask the Govt to build one of those  pools with high-power fans along one side, like they use for indoor windsurfing events overseas. That way, the kids (and us!) could train in strong wind all year round...

...uh-oh, I see from the newspaper today, plans for a huge new "Sporting Hub" have just been released.  Apparently they made the plans before SG got a medal for windsurfing...  Cry
