repair sail

hey guys where can i get the tapey thing to repair my sail? its like a foot long tear across man..

You mean duct tape?

All hardware stores & just about all supermarkets.

Will cope with a foot long tear semi-permanently if it's not at a stress point etc.

wont duct tape come out if it gets wet repeatedly or something?
hmm they have specially sail repair tape or something like that right?

Put it on carefully, remove the crud from your sail first, cut off the corners of the tape so it's kind of rounded and won't start to peel off easily, put it on both sides of the tear so water won't get to the adhesive...and start saving for a new sail!

This place sells a kind of transparent laminate which is much cheaper than the sail repair tape.
