Author Topic: Where can I hire and sail good kit in Singapore?  (Read 804 times)

Will be in Singapore for about 1 month end of October.

Am an intermediate level sailor and appreciate the benefits of good equipment.

Can anyone tell me where I can hire some quality FF/FW equipment and also where is best to sail at that time of year? I prefer slightly cross onshore and flatter sea state, rather than full on wave conditions.

Also, what protection will I need in terms of wetsuit (if any)?

Many thanks

Email me directly at info@bluefinz.com and we should be able to help with the gear etc.

Only protection needed is lycra and tons of sunblock.

when i left the UK i came up with one rule, if its too cold for the coconuts, its too cold for me! humans were never meant to live outside the tropic of coconuts

Hey Sukhdev

Sorry I just about missed you and Ben the other Sunday... Turned out I had to hire a battered (probably soggy) "Start" and 6.0 unbattened sail..  Just what I didn't want to do!

Spent last weekend with Tor..  So no sailing.. just talking..

Just got this weekend left before I leave the Tropic of coconuts... for lands of snow and seas of ice... So I really badly need to try get some quality water time this weekend.. Tried calling your mobile a couple of times but no joy..

Are you going to be at the beach this weekend?

Cheers
