Oily footprint removal

Picked up more oil/tar on my feet & board at PA yesterday.
My lovely white board now looks like a badly drawn dalmatian.
Tough stuff to remove completely; especially from the footpads & antislip. I’ve tried goo gone, paraffin, swearing & cussing, anyone got any better remedies?

Best solution is to change the board to a black Exocet 

Failing which, WD40 is very good if the oil/tar is fresh. However once the board is stained, not much can be done to remove that.

If you use WD40, you will need to wash off the residue with soap otherwise the board/pads will be very slippery for a while.

Kerosene...removes the stains, but the downside is you can't drink it

Kero. In the plastic bottles laying around in the washing bays. works on old tar marks as well (tested.)

the best stuff i ever used was citrus based bicycle chain degreaser (Pedro's i think? any other brand will do, as long as citrus based & get it in liquid form not spray). only a tiny dab is need and since its not harsh it works on the board, your clothes, skin, sails etc. bonus is that you come out smelling like oranges
any bike shop should have some.

rest is of course kerosene, wd40, gasoline (ugh).

the old manamana in bintan used to have a huge drum of degreasing fish oil for this purpose,  environmentally friendly but smells awful (board smells like belachan after use).
