Interesting that you too should be the first to respond, haha!

Great viz, the water was like liquid ice, not a ripple. Saturday we had NE all afternoon, just 5-7 kts mind you, but unmistakably NE. Amazing. Looks like we may get some at PA too next week. Nothing major of course, but I don't ever recall getting any NE this far into the year.

I reckon this way our intermonsoon might be quite a long one.  Cry

For those of you who have gnawed through a perfectly good boom due to boredom and frustration, could the weekend finally be bringing some fresher conditions?

Or is all the stagnant air inside my head causing mirages.

According to windfinder too, apparently southwesterly winds are going to make an appearance from thursday onwards! We shall see if they're right...

The old beach towel it was safely wrapped in was stolen by persons (un) KNOWN !!
I will keep u posted........its is of course maturing.

That reminds me of this mate of mine, sharp as a tack but a bit of a scatter-brain. We'd just got a bottle of wine from Coronation Plaza and decided to jump the monsoon drain there, because we were too lazy to use the overhead bridge. After sliding down the side of the drain, afore-mentioned mate tossed his sports bag, bottle wrapped inside his squash kit, to the other side... where it shattered on the concrete. The plonker.

Anyway, I digress. No worries, 38.

Hats off to the snail eaters for running such a Classic event !
Getting an entry though is another story.........
A bit like the Tax laws in UK after Gordon (up from 4000 pages to 9000)
The form apparently is on A-007 paper (carbonised) in quintuplet format and is filled up with a blunt HB pencil.
Of course you will need an Original Insurance Policy from God (or the French equivalent), medical certificate and the like.
I'm envious.
