Yup tall.
Alex told me about your site and I saw that you have a forum so I'm checking it out.

I edited by first post above and posted a picture of Ron and I to see if anyone remembers us.

We live in California now....still windsurfing. Two of our kids windsurf and one kiteboards.

Alex was saying that you can't kite in Singapore.  What's up with that?  Is that like the no chewing gum thing?

sue, the kiting ban was imposed by the harbormaster's office, something to do with their perception of safety issues. its sort of enforced sometimes.

send some of that rio vista wind over, we are in the doldrums waiting for the north easterlies to kick in.

Yes, Ron was working with Bombardier.  Now he works for Siemens (one of the competitors of Bombardier).

So cool to hear from people from so long ago.
BTW there is absolutely no wind here now.  Soon as mid Oct rolls around it dies off completely.

The good news is that we had the first snow fall of the season in the Sierra's.  We also snowboard and ski being fortunate enough to be about 1.5 hours drive from the resorts.
