Sorry Norman.
The old brain didnt connect.
Leo and Eddie are there, the 2 bottles are still on top of the fridge so I should have got them to hand it over !
I arrive on 25th Feb so my first task will be to deliver your prize to S'pore.
Good winds.

Stormin Norman wimped out. Prefered to sail on the muddy river.

Poor boy hardly drinks anyway(Dutch you see), it's lucky a few winging poms and aussies are around, otherwise the bar would go bankrupt.

Wind switches off by the way on the 25th.

No need to beg Ian, we'll share a glass with you.  Cheesy

MPH, I opted out of last week's Kuantan trip. But since then a rather decent time was had by all right here on the muddy - and windy - river.

Cheers!

Cheesy *ahem*  S'cuse me George, but the freak gust of wind that drove poor Norman's Falcon to over 30 knots has long since passed away...we ought to give it a prize...but  you're not going to waste good bubbly on the RIDER, are you?  He was just in the right place at the right time, after about 3 years of catching many more storms than anyone else. The day he caught his lucky gust and flat bit of water, all the best sailors were trapped in offices somewhere, looking out the window.   Windsurfing here in Singapore is like a lottery, and Normie just bought the most tickets, that's all...

Give the booze to those who will appreciate it, and if Norman can go in the Singapore cup or something, win a good, hard RACE or score a super-high GPS against OTHER PEOPLE in the SAME CONDITIONS, I'll buy him a bottle of bubbly myself!

Wow, no objections?  So easy!  Settled then.

Don't worry chum, it's just a setback...  Wink

That's all you've got to say in your defence?  Roll Eyes

"Woohoo"?

And we all thought you'd conceded defeat!  Shamed already!  Failed miserably to answer the criticism heaped against you!

But you probably didn't even understand.
There's not a humble bone in your body, is there?

(George, we all know that as a man of your word, you have to give him the bottle, but we also know how little it's really worth, don't we?  Unfortunately, though, that won't stop him prancing about and proclaming himself "the king"...*sigh* You don't know what you've done...we have to live with this every day)  Undecided
