windsurf or kitesurf in penang

i have landed on penang island for more than a week now, and i would like to know if there is any guys who sail here on the forum...
i might think about getting a kite gear and begin this sport....
windsurf, if i can rent some equipment and if it is not too expensive i might think of it...

Malaysia's equal 1st most famous windsurfer lives in Penang (and Thailand / Kuantan).
His name is Yeap Leong Soon but we all call him Penang Mafia which he seems to quite like........
There are very few sailors there and I think they mostly sail from the Chinese Swimming Club. His number is 012-4080568.
