Hi folks,

been years since I windsurfed last, so need an update on what equipment to get. I now live in Dubai, light winds and flat water. What equipment would suit these conditions. I have heard of Formula boards ? Sail size and make ? What sort of prices going in second hand market for a rig for these conditions ? Getting a rig to Dubai is not too much hassle. I lived in Singapore and seen the boys and girls out on the East Coast, so something similar looks like the right thing.

Any good pointers would be appreciated, thanks Returnee.

Long board. Anything with a daggerboard..

Sail size depending on your skill..  As you improve with time.. So should your sail size till you find the one you can use in all conditions..
