Hi Sam,

Which resort! Sea Gipsy, Twin Beach or Sibu Cabanas.

Very nice clear water and big rollers out in the open.

Sam,

I remembered we (Kit, Kenny, Sham and I) went to stay couple of nights at Sibu main resort.
It was nice and we managed to sail in a 1+ hr storm with our Formula gear.

The water is nice and clear, really felt like sailing on some remote Maldives islands.

If there's a fun race, it will be nice and sweet.

As for the gear, the recent demand for Formula is high, u may want to drop by PA to hunt for it.
As for your budget, it is really too low unless someone is charitable to donate it.

Happy sailing
