Perhaps a smaller volume board will be more enticing???

Most ppl have their own light wind board, so a small board for rental would make more sense.

If we need to rent a SB 111, then it should be only 12kts, and it won't be worth the rental as the wind might drop from 12kts. at an epic changi day, 25kts won't see and SB 111 rentals at all :-)

More like 80 - 100litre board for rental, and if the wind warrants it, you'd be looking at mostly whole day rentals :-)

Nice range PJ. mdnLight and BlackHawk has a point too; 90l board for those too rare epic days.

However 122l board would be useful to windsurfers experiencing their first monsoon or heavyweights simply requiring that little bit more vol even at 12knots.

There has to be a reason for people to BUY boards...I think the point of PJ's rental idea is to give people a chance to try these new boards and fall in love with them...

If he makes everything available to rent cheaply, he's shooting himself in the foot.  Anyway, I look forward to trying something different on a really nuking NE day.

BTW everybody, my boards are available for rental on Mondays, just $20 for the whole day.

Let's start with 2008 Futura 122 Wood. This board is very easy for NE 10-20 knots on 6.5-8.0 m.
Rather to use a smaller volume wave board would prefer to size down the fin on a slightly bigger board.
Those interested pls register @ bluefinz.com and PM me.
