Hi Guys

Yes my 147 has arrived here in the UK. Im looking for some advice on where I should start putting the foot straps yes I know there are a lot of variables to consider when placing them.     but just looking for a starting block. I weigh 85kgs but only have 30ins legs. my quiver is 10.9,9.9.8.7m and how does a 68R14 sound for a change down fin for the 9.8 and 8.7

have you had a opportunity to test oridinal fin to the R13s yet

Hi Alan,

I'm 6' with 36" inseams. I'm running the rear straps in the 2nd last hole (ie I could shift them back one more position) and front straps on the furthest forward inserts. Bear in mind my height and leg length, and allow for the fact that I tend to run mast foot positions very far forward.

I'd suggest middle, middle to start with. If controlling fin lift becomes a problem then shift the rear straps forward one position. If conversely the board is bow happy despite correcting via mast foot position, then you need to shift the front ones forward.

It was windy enough to test the fins 2 days ago but I'm afraid I couldnt resist playing on the hyper instead. I should have some fin testing done over the next few days, planning to test r13s (70,66,62),hurricane (70m) and the original.
