I have not seen any less than $80.00 USD I'm in the Philippines on Albay Gulf, pls email with source. I used to have this budget model like 3" wide 10" tall that you held up facing into the wind, I think it was considered pitot tube low technology, but it worked great was less than $20.00 usd, I cannot find replacement, my exbitch took my sail quiver of 5 sails and 3 boards so I'm starting off from scratch with an OLD BRUCE JONES CUSTOM BOARD FROM SUNSET BEACH, CA. THANKS, BILL

MPH? What's that? Oh, "Miles Per Hour", just like back in the colonial days, how quaint! BTW Norman can't drink the hard stuff; the bubbles might hurt his nose! Better pass it on to the other members...

Thanks Mr. 38 MPH. I'll tell you what, I'll carry over my bubbly until someone nails 33 knots; by the looks of the speeds attained by my kaki so far, it could very well be this NE. After which you "pop" by for a champers fest. How's that?

Hahahaha, very good PR work there, Princess! Thanks for gracing these lowly forums with your elite presence for the first time since...when was it, July, when a lucky gust propelled you to superstardom?? A final gesture from a doomed man, attempting to project a humble image...10 out of 10 for effort! This NE it'll be great to see all the fast guys out (with their gps units) at the same time in the same wind; that would make more sense than one dude who catches every single storm all year round promoting himself as the fastest sailor, when we all know the fastest guys have day jobs and families and really don't have time to wait around for the wind...I'm sure Norman will humbly agree.

Good stuff! Having my 7.6 fixed as we speak. Josh, any storms lurking? hi norman, we have the same wind patterns aside from that windy place up in Taiwan so monsoon is coming but hasn't really come in full force maybe in a month's time..this gps thing really helps a lot..just can't go sailing without it unless it's bump and jump but still we try to use it for duration and always bear in mind to sail as fast as we can barring the conditions..really is a sparring partner when no one's around..regards
