I woke up at 6am today and it was honking!  Shocked

Now it's 1pm, and it's STILL honking! And I have to WORK!!!!!!!!!!  I have a good view of the ocean from my workplace, and all I can see are Whitecaps! Whitecaps! Whitecaps!  Embarrassed

Whereas, if I were still in Singapore, I'd be at the windsurfing club now, but there'd be no wind!!

Which is better? Which is worse? Is there any way to win?

It's 3:30pm. It's still honking. A solid 20+ knots. Still stuck at work. The ocean is only 200 metres away.  Undecided  I could jump out the window; it's only the 3rd floor...

This story has a happy ending. I was able to get onto the water after work, for about 5 minutes before it got too dark. But by that time the swell had gotten quite big and there was kind of too much wind. It was not all plain sailing.  Grin
