SWA Race Series 1

Dear Windsurfers,

The first race of the year's windsurfing series is beckoning! This Sunday marks the first race
of the series. We will have simple starts for at least 2 race categories: Slalom, Formula and if manpower
allows, we can have some youth and club board classes. Everyone will share the same simple sausage
race course on separate starts. Racing will be kept as simple as possible, purpose is to clock in as much good
racing as possible. Slalom: Min 12kts; Formula: Min 8kts. Youth/Clubboard: No Min wind strength

This series of races is open to SWA members and non-members
are of course welcome to race but at a very small fee to cover organizational expenses.
This is because SWA does not receive any funding and everyone is working on volunteer basis.
So in order to run races etc, we do need some cash. ;-)

Please also take note that the Singapore National Windsurfing C'ship takes place on 21-22 July.
So the SWA Race series 3 on 15 July is a great preparation to that.
