2004 SB 158 Freeformula

Hi all
This is my first post (please sorry my bad english, I'm from Chile South America).
I learn windsurf a long time ago (pre funboard era) I never use straps or harness. I sail also in catamaran at this time, so I quit WS. To make the tale short, now I have a used 158 free formula and I want to learn to use it (I'm in the pre planing / strap stage but I think I'm learning fast and very motivated).
I read all the very good articles (stance, rig etc.). I sail in a gusty flat water lake with medium to high wind (10 to 25 knots) I have a NP 8,2 Diablo that I feel to much to me right now (with the top end wind and my bad shape arm muscles).
The sail size for this board start at 6 mts (catalog).
Maybe is a good idea to begin with this size of sail as a rockie?.
I want to know more about this board, I read in the forum (and old 2004 post) that there is a review of this board, also has a link (a dead one). Can anyone has this review and want to share with me?.Or have information about this board? Why Starbooard descontinued it?
Thank you very much
Best regards
Ricardo

Starboard did not dis-conitinued. It has been replaced by the iSonic 145 / 155 which has almost the same spec as the F-Type but much faster and more crispy in ride.
The baord can takes 6m but if the wind is that strong then the board is too big, you should start in the range of 8.0-9,5m .
We have modifeid the website , sorry not able to create the proper link. Hope I hv answered yr question.
