Kenneth,

It takes about 2 days to transport the gear up to Butterworth by train (from S'pore). Cost about S$60<.

Normally, we will send it on Monday and collect it on early Wed morning. Set sail after that.

Since CNY, the wind has been blowing about 12-18 kts in the afternoon.

Hope to see u there, nevermind the race.
It will be fun cum racing.

Get hole of a NOR and some club letter ensuring that you'll bring back the equipment after the event, that way you'll not have to worry much about custom out and back or pay GST when you gear return.

I'm sending my gear up on Monday, book a bus ticket to Butterworth for Friday morning arriving just in time to rig up for race in the afternoon.

Yes, flying back to JB on Monday.

Taking bus to butterworth to collect equipment on Thursday morning.
