K-21,
Penang Mafia was doing great just b4 the last race. Infact, during 1 of the races, he managed to beat Koo on the last leg. Unfortunately, in the last race, someone who was on port tack crashed onto him and he finished 9th.
Pre-race days, the wind was blowing up to about 25 kts. It was max out sailing. Our coach boat couldn't keep up with us. However, the curse materialised when the race started, the wind dropped to about 10-16 kts.
The Pattaya City council did a great job in organsing the race and with great hospitality.
Overall, the S'pore team managed to finish in top 3 position for both in men and ladies class (Rachel got 1st).
