Denis
5 knots min for short board, so no chance for fatties then?

Regular fatties will do just fine.
Baby elephants will need more wind.

Ok thanks 38.2mph
Will get some practice in. Thinking about an energy on one foot and an orange SLE on the other, coupled with a 12.5 Hyline triangular sail and if that dont work, might just go the whole hog and go for the challange flex, that certainly should get me up and going in 5 knots.

U r on the right track but in light of having one gonad bigger than the other you better put the 294 SLE on one side and the 311 SLE on the other.
Then I suppose u could sail laying down with the Challenge Flex strapped to another appendage to act as a hydrofoil.
God, you'd be the quickest thing since me.

Yes, i can see that the 294 and 311 would be an ideal combo, its just the glare from the bright orange colour that would be a problem. The additional weight of the extra heavy duty sunglasses that i would need, may just up the planning threshold to 6 knots.

Perhaps if i leave the challange flex on the beach, the rest of the racers will be too busy studying it in awe on the beach, wondering how to incorporate one onto their formulas, to think about racing?

Precisely.
I stand in awe of the superior being.
I always knew u could win a race somehow or other.

Ian,

Sorry I took so long to come back to you.  I have not checked this thread for quite some time.

No chance for ANYBODY who does not know how to schlog!  They are just being realistic.  They have to give away those prizes somehow.
