new/used equip-Full set

hi,

am looking for either new/used set of surf staff.  must be CNG (cheap n good) for a begginner, who can only surf out and back(depends on luck and tide most of the time)    

Am total idiot to surf staff, but yearns to try on own surf boad and sail than the rented boards...they are so heavy!

any source?  pls help!  thnx!

check out PA notice board...a MISTRAL FLOW board for sale there plus some other sails/rigs as well...

don't knock those heavy boards. if you are totally new then stick with the beginner boards till you get the basics wired, ie being able to steer your way and back and at least get to the stage of using a harness. if you are in a rush to spend money buy a set of harness lines (the kind you can take on and off easily) and a harness and learn to use that. don't buy anything sexy looking until you are sure you can use it (goes for most things in life i guess     )

Hi guys,

10s for the advice!  Btw, how do you classify as a beginner board? is the mistral flow board suitable for beginner?  Can the harness be used with the rental boards at PA?  Is there a one-stop service and consultation kiosk in singapore where we can be guided and pick up items and customize our own personal stuff to our needs.. dun want to buy the wrong things for the wrong reasons..
