Adding grip to board

Hi,

Any ideas on how to re-grip the board?

I've heard about the epoxy/salt method but how is it actually done?

Are there any alternatives?

sand down old surface. tape off areas you dont want affected. use 2 part epoxy resin (ideally UV stable type). make/use a sieve. apply resin with a roller or brush. sprinkle sugar with sieve. let it set. wash off.

suggestion: get either richard at pa or ben at pf to do it if you are not up to DIY stuff.

alternatives? most of the ones i have come across (eg redek) suck big time. booties can help on really slick decks but cool factor is mega low

Just to add to Sukhdev's comments.  You can get the correct type of epoxy resin from Marintech at Jalan Besar - quite costly!  Use castor sugar.  The grain size is just about right.
