Hi Sukhdev, your's is a great site. Congrats!!! I'm came back to ws last year after an absence of 17 years. Now I'm fighting to correctly use the harness lines, I can hike out, planning ok, use the straps, all that but I don't know if my lines are of correct lenght. I'm most confortable with around 26" lines (sail is GTX 8.5 2003), my impression is that the mast is very upright (as others in my spot rake the sail more windward), I feel I'm always on the edge of being catapulted by the sail. Should I make them a little short? So I'll be a little more standing and/or the sail less upright? I'm just freeriding back and forth. Any plans for a technical article?

mario, measure your lines from the boom head, how far back are they? most of what you describe could be due to the lines being too far forward. this ends up causing the sailor to effectively support only the front of the sail, leaving him unable to fully sheet in and with the body twisted forward. 26" is a good length so thats not a problem. i'm purely guessing but it may be a combination of lines position and stance. go ahead and measure the line position, i'm curious what setting you are using.
