Diablo on a 460/25 mast

I am looking at purchasing a s/hand NP Diablo 6.2m sail this w.e. Only concern I have is that the recommended mast is a 430. Can I get away with this? I do intend to rig up before deciding. Anything to watch out for? Thanks

Shouldnt be a problem especially since you get to rig it first. main things to watch will be batten rotation etc esp if the mast is not an NP mast. You may need to play around with downhaul/outhaul to find the best combo. This is fairly common, I often use a longer/stiffer mast eg in my current 2004 Echo 7.4 I use a 490 instead of 460.
