Hi all,
Is there any pronounced windy time of year in SG?
Or is there not much seasonal pattern?
Thanks!

Based on the last two years:

- Best period is North East monsoon (end December to mid March).

- South East monsoon (July-August).

For last years wind statistics see  http://www.ulfpettersson.com/ulfp_txp/mod_wind/windyear.asp?yyyy=2002&mm=2.

No it  is not true !
However, it will be lighter than North East.
But then again how long is a piece of string ?
More important is to ensure you have the correct quiver of sails for your weight / ability.
Sukhdev probably offers the absolute best advice based on your weight /ability / board /budget etc.
Luckily he also has a PhD in meteorology.
