Hi Sukhdev,
Used to sail in heavy wind with choppy water with my 5.0 revolution. Few days ago I tried my friend's retro 6.0 which impressed me with it's stability & friendly control. Is it becuase of the retro has lower CE than wave sails ?
Cheers

The revo is very stable if downhauled correctly. It can be set to feel "soft" and "loose" because some sailors prefer that feel in waves, ie you can power/depower easily. I prefer to rig mine to be very taught with quite a bit of downhaul. I like the feel of the Revo with a skinny mast, the whole rig feels more whippy. What sort of mast are you using in the 5.0?
The retro has a lower foot which allows the gap to be closed easily but the CE should not be that much different. It may be the difference is due to rigging, masts etc. I'd be interested to know the settings. The 2003 Retro is something else though, build is improved alot and the sail rigs beautifully, had a lot of fun in kuantan testing out the retro on the hyper.
