Hey great site & forum. I've passed through Singapore many times and have often wondered if there was a "local" sailing scene there, guess I know the answer to that now. I'll be passing through again next june on my way to Diego Garcia and hope to have a few days to kill in Singapore. Where can you rent gear there? Whats the wind like there in June, I know it picks up in DG in June but thats a bit below the equator. I usually sail Formula gear, but get the ocassional chance to sail small stuff, 100 - 120 ltr, haha. Anyway I will be in touch again when I get a little closer to get there.

Hi Mark,

thanks for dropping in and give us a call the next time you pass through; we'll set something up for you. Say hi to George G, Paul K and the rest of the DG crew.

June is the start of the south west, on a good day it would mean moderate breezes (80 to 15kts), ideal formula weather. December to March is the windiest, with some nice small board weather.

Sukhdev - Will do, I'll be meeting George and some of the other DG sailors in Boracay next month!
