Desmond Chan contributed this pics (courtesy of his wife) of Cambodia. Its a place called Koh Kood Island  and is 3.5hrs from Bangkok by bus and abt 1 hr by boat, near the border of Eastern Cambodia.

Not much info other than the pics, I guess right now its academic till the current ruckus over there settles down. I'll post any further info I find but thats one beautiful spot.

Wind strength this time of year should be good, the north east monsoon covers all of south east asia. what I'm curious about is how it would rate during the south west monsoon (summer).
