Dear all fellow respected windsurfers,

I would like to stand out & clarify tis whole issue. I don't expect all of you to give me a chance but i just hope that you all will hear me out.

I admit that i stole Ms Adelin's crank based on the fact that i kept her crank without her permission. However, it was because i had borrowed Ben Jr's crank beforehand on the same day as i had just bought a rig from him.

After using it, i return it to Ben Jr's workshop and return to surfing. When i decided to go for lunch with my friends, i actually forgot that i have returned the crank & conveniently keep Ms Adelin's crank before actually checking whether it belongs to hers as she said that there's her name on it.

If i did retort to Ms Adelin with regards to what she said, i apologise sincerely with all my heart. I guess it was my 1st day out in sea with my 1st hard sail & board that's why i was in jitters not knowing what i'm doing most of the time.

I have apologised to Ms Adelin profusely to my actions and i know no matter how i explain myself is still considered as stealing. I'm willing to make up to Ms Adelin in any way possible to atone for my foolish mistake.

That's all i got to say and thanks for all your kind attention.

Good to hear Lawrence have the courage to admit for his mistake.

Let's forget and move on, look foward for the coming NE and sail happily. Members @ PF are one whole family.

Meng(Moderator), suggest you close and remove this thread.

Thanks for the reply, Lawrence. I found it very upsetting tt fellow windsurfers wld do tt coz we enjoy being part of a cosy community where there's camaraderie and we try to look out for each other, rather than sabo. It's ok now, no more than this public apology is needed. There's no need to atone etc.

We'll juz all move on from here and enjoy the long-awaited NE. Bit more sun wld be good tho.

Happy sailing!

for D24, i will lock this thread.

anyway, finally, there's a conclusion to this thread.
this episode has been quickly vindicated.
this will raise the awareness of 'neighbourhood watch'.
just be alert and take good care of your stuffs.

sail safely with a buddy system during the Monsoon.

happy sailing guys
